Customised Business Solutions
UNE Partnerships is committed to creating business solutions to maximise the effectiveness of organisational learning
UNE Partnerships' client-centred approach highlights us as a leader in the delivery of professional training and development. Our experience in developing customised programs demonstrates our capacity to embrace the strategic direction, systems, policies and procedures, culture and values of our partner organisations. This systematic approach to customisation facilitates workplace change, improving individual performance and organisational capability.
Our customisation process incorporates the following:
- consultation and analysis to evaluate the needs of the organisation, or undertake specialised needs analysis
- design and development to create and customise a business solution with the right ‘fit’ for the organisation
- flexible delivery according to organisational needs through workshops, distance, online or blended modes
- ongoing evaluation to ensure transfer of learning and continuous improvement of our service delivery
Customisation can also focus just on specialised delivery options for corporate groups through:
- face to face workshops
- assessment workshops
- topic related workshops
- combined distance education program with workshops
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) owned by the University of New England, UNE Partnerships can offer and source courses and services across a full range of levels from vocational qualification through to university awards. Established educational pathways provide individual career and organisational development.
Educational philosophy and approach
UNE Partnerships recognises our students’ and clients’ requirements to build skills that ensure our programs achieve clear, precise outcomes and objectives. This approach hinges on the successful transfer of newly acquired capability from the learning environment to the workplace. Our instructional designers incorporate solid theory and practice into all programs, making them suitable for active practitioners and for those preparing to enter a new occupation.
UNE Partnerships understands the specific nature of industry requirements and has built a reputation for the delivery of customised training and education with a broad range of clients.
Each client's specific requirements are discussed and analysed during the consultation phase, ensuring their strategic goals are incorporated into the training program. This reinforces existing systems and provides a platform for future development within the organisation.
Action learning principles form an integral part of UNE Partnerships’ educational philosophy. This translates into a process of learning and reflection supported by colleagues, study cohorts, coaches, mentors, managers and facilitators. Learning in this context creates immediate and meaningful feedback where program participants learn individually, and from others, by working on real problems. Action learning creates organisational networks as participants begin to interact with peers and subject matter experts throughout the organisation. We encourage the implementation of a mentoring system (where none exists), to support learning in the workplace. Successful mentorship benefits both the mentor and the mentored.
UNE Partnerships uses a continuous improvement model to review and modify its processes of design, development, production and delivery of courseware. We encourage a system of open and continuous consultation to optimise the achievement of desired outcomes. We recommend feedback from participants and stakeholders from the commencement of service delivery.
